Integrated Industrial Technologies, Inc. is located in Blawnox, PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. We offer a chance to work with a variety of different products, technologies, and applications in a number of industries. We currently have opportunities in both our Automation and Machining divisions:

Automation

Automation Software Engineer I

This junior-level position (0-3 years’ experience) involves the development of PC-based integration projects and industrial motion control applications. Essential experience includes:

  • Experience programming and debugging with Microsoft Visual C#, VB (.Net), C/C++ and/or other similar programming languages is required.
  • BSEE/EET degree or equivalent is required.
  • Experience working with other automation platforms (PLC, Vision, Robot, CNC) is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and debug is beneficial.

Must be a self-starter capable of working independently as well as a member of a team. Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency speaking and writing in English is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel is desired. Approximately 20% domestic travel is required; some international travel is possible. Must be a US citizen, no sponsorship is available. This position is based in Blawnox, PA, a suburb Pittsburgh, PA. Relocation assistance is not available.
 

Machine Vision Application Engineer I

This junior-level position (0-3 years’ experience) involves the development and support of machine vision applications for robotic guidance, inspection, gauging, and detection applications. Essential experience includes:

  • Experience with vision hardware and software from at least one of the following manufacturers: Omron Industrial Automation & Safety, Cognex (DVT), Keyence, Dalsa, HALCON, and/or PPTVision. Other practical experience with machine vision products will be considered.
  • Recent graduates with demonstrated academic experience may apply.
  • Experience with other automation platforms (PLC, Vision, Robot, CNC) is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and debug is beneficial.

Robot Engineer I

This junior-level position (0-3 years’ experience) involves the development of PC-based industrial motion control applications. Essential experience includes:

  • Experience programming and debugging with FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Motoman, and/or Kawasaki robots.
  • BSEE/EET or BSME/MET degree or equivalent is required.
  • Experience with other automation platforms (PLC, Vision, Robot, CNC) is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical wiring and debug is beneficial.

Must be a self-starter capable of working independently as well as a member of a team. Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency speaking and writing in English is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel is desired. Machining

Welder

The primary responsibilities of this position are to weld and fabricate a variety of metal structures from oral directions, sketches, drawings and blueprints. Essential functions include:

  • Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions using AWS D1.1 MIG procedures.
  • Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid warping, shrinking, distortion, overheating of parts and/or expansion of material.
  • Lay-out, position, align, and secure parts during assembly using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, rulers, etc.
  • Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
  • Comply with QC standards and company best practices.
  • Keep a clean and organized work space and complete housekeeping duties in assigned area or project area.
  • Complete assigned work within given time frame and according to specifications.

Manual Machinist

As a Manual Machinist, you will be able to identify problems and make necessary adjustments as they relate to industrial applications. Essential functions include:

  • Operate manual machining tools, including: engine lathes, horizontal lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drilling machines as well as related equipment.
  • Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform mechanical measurements using portable mechanical instruments such as dial indicators and micrometers.
  • Comply with QC standards and company best practices.
  • Keep a clean and organized work space and complete housekeeping duties in assigned area or project area.
  • Complete assigned work within given time frame and according to specifications.
