Thin ClientOne of our specialties in this area include the design of client-server based HMI applications. A distributed architecture maximizes performance and security while reducing equipment and maintenance costs by leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft® Windows CE.Net and Linux based thin client terminals.

No longer must critical application servers be deployed on the factory floor where they are subject to extreme environments and abuse. A distributed architecture allows you to move critical systems to a secure data center, needing only inexpensive thin clients on the factory floor. Furthermore, your system's data is better protected from loss or theft.

Reports

Another advantage to a distributed architecture is that it can help to eliminate "islands of information". Process performance statistics and quality assurance information can be made directly available to business systems, enabling management to keep an eye on production from his or her office. Custom reporting software is available supporting formats such as Microsoft® Excel, OpenOffice Calc, Crystal Reports, and generic XML.
